Our client is looking for a Senior Manager /Head of KYC Advisory with Management and Oversight responsibilities for the KYC Advisory Team.
· Manages the Branch’s KYC Program.
· Have responsibility for management, monitoring and oversight of the Branch’s KYC Team.
· Support the Branch in understanding its customer risk profile and taking risk - mitigating controls.
· Execute the decision making related to the KYC Program with the BSA/AML Compliance Officer.
· Work with and support the BSA/AML Compliance Officer on issues relating to customer acceptance, customer risk rating and mitigating.
· Review and Approve internal memos, documentation produced in response to Branch Management, Head Office, and internal audit requests.
· Liaise with the regulators,internal auditors, external auditors and 3rd party vendors.
· Be responsible for compliance and risk management issues.
· Over see KYC Advisory Team’s maintenance and assessments on the effectiveness of the Customer Risk Rating Methodology, including the risks coring threshold, in order to appropriately identify and assign the customer risk rating.
· Have responsible for compliance and risk management issues.
· Provide KYC/AML/TM guidance as the Senior Management of the KYC Advisory Team.
· Work with and support theBSA/AML Compliance Officer on issues relating to customer on-boarding, riskrating and mitigating controls.
· Oversee the maintenance of the Branch wide country risk rating master list.
· Oversee KYC Advisory Team’s maintenance and assessments on the effectiveness of the Customer Risk Rating Methodology, including the risks coring threshold, in order to appropriately identify and assign the customer risk rating.
· Manage and develop a high-performing team by providing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback.
· Foster a culture of compliance and professionalism within the team, promoting a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies.
· Previous experience in KYC Advisory.
· Experienced in Customer Acceptance/KYC Program Management role executing the responsibilities described above.
· Strong knowledge of and experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering Regulations in the US.
· Wide knowledge of KYC, CDD, EDD and risk rating practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Strong project/change management and task management skills;
Reports to BSA/AML Compliance Officer.
