Our Client offers a full range of banking services from many banking centers. These services include a host of checking, savings, and investment accounts for retail and commercial customers, cash management, corporate online banking, electronic banking services, debit cards and a variety of consumer, real estate, and commercial loans and lines of credit.

 

Position Summary:

The Vice President/Credit Manager Supervises the Portfolio Management function including Special Assets Reports; Supervises Loan Servicing; Review and recommend procedures to monitor and maintain collateral of secured loans, including insurance and property tax compliance, appraisal and reserve requirements; Oversee the collection and analysis of financial information received from borrowers.  Proactively identifying early warning signs of trouble debt; Oversee and complete annual reviews on term loans in the portfolio and make risk rating recommendations; Oversee  Loan specifics, payment status, and risk analysis; Review and respond to loan modification and extension requests, complete memo and submit memo to Chief Lending Officer for approval, and complete necessary documentation to be signed by borrower, all prior to the maturity date; Implement workout strategies; Responsible for Portfolio and Impact reporting

  • Loan restructuring strategies and alternatives; monitoring compliance with loan restructure agreements and preparing monitoring reports and action plans
  • Establishes and implements new and revised policy and procedures in the asset management
  • Monitors the credit performance of customers and identify any issues that requires risk mitigation
  • Review Loan Closing Summary
  • Oversee completeness of loan files
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; manages deposit operations;
  • Monitor credit performance of customers and identify changes that may require action to ensure risk mitigation in order to minimize potential losses
  • Knowledge of FDIC; OCC banking regulations; oversees loan services tasks; oversees products and services
  • Oversees the Loan Services and Portfolio Management functions for the Bank
  • Responsible for the preparation of reports for the Senior Loan Committee and Board reporting
  • Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Review and recommend procedures to monitor and maintain collateral of secured loans,
  • including insurance and property tax compliance, appraisal and reserve requirements, etc.
  • Design forms, procedures, processes, and reports to enhance Portfolio Management function, especially as it relates to database reporting.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial information received from borrowers.
  • Proactively identifying early warning signs of trouble debt
  • Oversee and complete annual reviews on term loans in the portfolio and make risk rating recommendations
  • Maintain database fields related to required monitoring information due from borrowers.
  • Review and respond to loan modification and extension requests,
  • Identify any problem loans and propose to CCO strategies for resolving issues
  • Implement workout strategies when necessary, to be approved by CCO
  • Pursue collection efforts when necessary, with assistance from Loan Services Manager
  • Perform periodic site inspections and prepare reports on physical condition of properties.
  • Advise management of any potential issues in portfolio concentrations, exposures and market risks
  • Share responsibility for relationship management with Relationship Manager’s to create loyalty and repeat business
  • Support and promote Relationship Manager’s ability to procure new loans from existing borrowers
  • Prepare reports related to the portfolio including but not limited to analysis of asset quality, stress testing, industry and market analysis, asset allocation, reserves and non-performing loan analysis.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops department operational managers; manages schedules and workflow.
  • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
