Our Direct Client with offices in the Washington DC area seeks an experienced leader who has a demonstrated track record of working with clients across a diverse portfolio.  Operating in a lead capacity, this position will manage a team of Account Executives and Account Support Administrators to direct client servicing and support for Commercial Banking within the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Supervise the regional Account Executive and Account Support Administrator team providing support on opportunities, client portfolios and escalations.
  2. Work closely with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director on service issues, service strategy and overall client portfolio.
  3. Provide as well as direct the team to provide best in class customer service standards and protocols.
  4. Provide onboarding support, mentoring and training for new hires.
  5. Roll out processes, standards and best practices as well as implement audit and compliance requirements as needed.
  6. Act as day-to-day relationship manager/primary point of contact for assigned client portfolio, liaising with other areas of the Bank to resolve client issues.
  7. Ensure respective Commercial Bankers are well informed of client issues, requests and opportunities for growth.
  8. Consult with clients to make appropriate recommendations on product, services and fee structures.
  9. Actively participate in sales process as requested by Commercial Bankers offering sales support, product expertise, product demonstrations and pro forma analyses.
  10. Deepen relationships by taking a consultative approach to client needs both from a product and service perspective.
  11. Maintain accurate client records through a central repository of shared drives or databases.
  12. Complete annual reviews as required for select products and services.
  13. Review and decision of daily overdraft and other account reports; escalate issues to management as needed.
  14. Maintain compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and regulations.
  15. For new clients, provide and implement flawless account transition services from the incumbent bank to our Client’’s Bank including account opening, cash management service enrollment, and online banking training.
  16. Demonstrate a superior level of product acumen and attention to detail.
  17. Timely escalate client concerns or issues to management and Commercial Bankers.
  18. Work remotely and be accessible nights and weekends for VIP client inquiries.
  19. Work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  20. Respond to internal and external clients in a timely fashion.
  21. Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. 5-7 years of experience in client facing roles
  3. Ability to accurately understand and audit financial statements
  4. Ability to work and adapt to a fast paced, evolving work environment
  5. Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  6. Exceptional verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
