JOB SUMMARY

We are currently searching for an experienced candidate to fill the position of VP/Senior VP Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer. The Loan Officer will solicit, develop and originate commercial real estate loans in a manner consistent with the Commercial Real Estate Lending Policy and Bank objectives. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate loan originations, loan applications, preparation of credit analysis, maintenance of business relationships with borrowers and the ability and experience to obtain deposits and business accounts from existing and new customers

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- The Vice President/Senior Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer has the following responsibilities:

Development of new bank customers

Development of applications for new loans and loan renewals from qualified borrowers

Preparation of a credit analysis to determine the risk associated with each application.

Execution of all documents needed to make loans and to protect the interests of the Bank.

Assurance that loan documents are properly filed and that loan conditions are met.

Maintenance of business relationships with borrowers to assure that all loan conditions are met.

Assures that properties are inspected, and construction or renovation work is proceeding as scheduled

QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES

The following qualifications and capabilities are important for successful performance of this job:

· Formal education in business administration, accounting, marketing, or a related discipline.

· Experience as a real estate loan officer with important commercial accounts.

· Knowledge of federal bank regulations.

· Knowledge of marketing and relationship management practices.

· Knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk ratings.

· Knowledge of computer software programs used to evaluate loan information.

· Ability to define, communicates, and monitors compliance with underwriting standards.

· Ability to interact successfully with other executives and with senior officers of the Bank.
