Job Description

This role is for a Project Manager who will be part of the core team responsible for delivery of CCAR re-engineering data requirements. 


    • Manage a team of analysts, providing explicit direction, sometimes instruction, vetting through approach and deliverables
    • Define and plan necessary steps for Critical Data Elements definition and data quality measurement. 
    • Partner with stakeholders & SMEs across multiple groups and seniority levels to manage the critical path execute the plan
    • Manage dependencies across related programs and initiatives and provide program updates for all relevant corporate reporting requirements, e.g. strategic data management initiatives
    • Lead the coordination and craft responses to regulatory inquiries
    • Work closely with key business and technology SMEs to develop an in-depth understanding of their critical data needs
    • Recognize the patterns of data needs across enterprise and determine how to address these requirements using an effective and efficient business data architecture

      Guide working groups in identification and common definitions of the critical data elements and business rules associated with them

    • Categorize and prioritize identified data needs and issues. Work closely with each working group to facilitate the collection of the metadata for critical data elements.
    • Excellent presentation and communications skills at executive levels are a must


    • 10+ years of project management experience including process reengineering, process mapping and change management within bank or with a leading consulting firm 
    • 10+ years’ experience with implementing and leading data management initiatives across lines of business; including management of executive level relationships 
    • Demonstrated track record of working on projects focusing on CCAR business requirements
    • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, core Risk and Finance measures, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, RWA, Capital, etc.
    • Experience in working with key internal business stakeholders & IT teams
    • Solid business analysis and problem solving skills
    • Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you (e.g., from clients, from other departments, external suppliers)
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
    • Exceptional organizational and relationship building skills, at all levels
    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active listening) required, ability to synthesize key messages and “storytell”
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and to work with geographically diverse resources
    • Ability to work effectively with project teams/leaders across all functional areas and levels
    • Ability to see the “big picture” without losing attention to detail
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to “roll up sleeves”
    • Change management expertise
    • Communication horsepower to drive a client relationship and potentially upsell on identifiable opportunities within the project or with our Client’s software.
