We are working with our “Client” to identify an experienced Engagement/Account Manager to join their team. Our “Client”, headquartered in NYC, provides strategic risk management and compliance software for industry specific issues. In addition, they have developed a proprietary Software as a Service (SaaS) platform to assist banking and insurance clients with Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, Program and Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Solutions Implementation and Development
This role is at the center of our Client’s Engagement team and provides it with leadership. You will need to be able to think through the project(s) ‘big picture’ actively participating and functioning in a hands-on capacity and still remaining close enough to the content. The role provides for a chance to develop close relationships with our “Client’s” senior client managers This role will provide the opportunity to mentor colleagues and reflect on your strengths in a different light.
Core responsibilities include:
Project management (with some pieces of administration and problem solving (e.g. structuring the issues to be investigated, finding creative ways to solve them, and helping the team with doing the analyses)
Responsibility for leading the on-ground execution of an engagement(s) solving the ‘problem’, managing senior client relationships and bringing the best of our “Client” to their client(s).
Responsibility for keeping the team fully updated on all feedback coming from the client and ensuring that they adhere to client expectations
Account management and growth with responsibility for prospecting for new business within your assigned client base planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential client managers to do more business with our Client.
Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at our “Client’s” client(s)
Responsibility for developing a rapport with existing and new client managers within your client base and setting targets for sales and providing support that will continually improve the relationship.
Identifying solutions that address or “Client’s” customer needs creating business opportunities. And identifying a portfolio of qualified leads

Skills/Experience include:
A minimum of ten years of Financial/Risk/Regulatory Compliance EM/AM experience (preferably at Big 4)
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university (Masters Preferred)
Project Management experience (PMP Preferred)
Experience in managing large projects and team members, and the ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations
Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects
Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities
Entrepreneurial Spirit
Some travel may be required
